In the Spring of 2008, Maureen Kirk-Detberner created
FastWinn Photography named for her Arabian Horse Winn. Maureen's knowledge and love of horses combined
with her passion for photography is the driving force behind FastWinn.
A National award winning photographer, Maureen is located northwest of
Tucson, Arizona near the towns of Oro Valley and Marana. A
most recent award was for her picture of two Spanish Barb Mares
titled "Boss Mare" as it was named as the American Livestock
Breeds Conservancy's (ALBC) 2011 photo of the year!
The primary subjects of FastWinn Photography are horse / pet / human portraits,
horse shows and events, desert landscapes and fine art
photography. FastWinn was the horse show photographer for the
Southern Arizona Arabian Horse Association's January and July
2011 shows, and the Tucson Dressage Association's Championship
Show in November 2011.
FastWinn portrait sessions are scheduled to allow ample time
to review the location and to develop a understanding of the
relationships between the subjects of the session. It is
Maureen's goal
to make the session relaxing, fun and to capture in pictures that
special link between people and their animals. Examples

Maureen also enjoys taking fine art photographs of the desert landscape and old
western buildings. Many of her photos have appeared in local
newspapers and she is offering them as prints and greeting cards on her
Etsy Shop.
Maureen enjoys her three horses and is an active member of the Spanish
Barb Horse Association (SBHA) and County Line Riders of
Catalina.
Her photo of a beautiful Spanish Barb yearling was used by Dikki
VanHelsand as the basic for her batik painting "The Yearling".
Maureen and Dikki designed a T-shirts with a screen print of the
"The Yearling" and it is for sale on her Etsy Shope. All
the profits from the sale of the T-shirt will go to SBHA.
