SACCA Recycled Art Exhibit April -July 2016

“Running From Tomorrow” my painting on flagstone was accepted in the SACCA (Southern Arizona Arts& Cultural Alliance) Recycled Art Exhibit at Vantana Medical Systems Inc., Oro Valley, AZ.  I’m so thrilled to have my painting in this important Southern Arizona Show!  I haven’t painted in over 40 years and this is my first official painting of 2016.  I have never had a painting excepted into an art exhibit.  This exhibit is special as it requires 50% of the art work to be of recycled material.  The opening day of this show is Earth Day, April 21.

My painting of this running horse was done on a piece of flagstone that was left over from a project.  The easel is made from an old rake head with a old metal bit welded on to it.  I have to thank my artists friend and neighbor Aureleo Rosano for doing the welding!
